The Festi Jazz international of Rimouski had been organized since 1986. It is one of the most enjoyable festivals of jazz. Cultural organization headlights in the East of Quebec, solidly anchored in it’s environment, the biggest one of the small festivals of jazz attracts more than 20 000 people, amateurs of jazz and infatuated secular of music and a party mixing with the Bas-Saint-Laurent and mountains.

Each year the Festi Jazz presents some of the bigger names of jazz and a talent relief, in a maritime setting. Its roots solidly anchored and its always spectacular atmosphere do an event that has been an asset to Quebec for twenty-three years already. The Festi Jazz celebrates close to a quarter of a century of passion, of music and of a party!

Created in 1986 by a group of music-loving friends, the Festi Jazz knows to take assurance with the years, without never losing it’s enthusiasm! There are numerous shows put together each year in the city during the weekend of Festi Jazz.

The Festival includes big artists such as Oliver Jones, Gino Vanelli, Brubeck, Jesse Cook and Holly Cole who have all been welcomed by the Festival… or should we say we had a generous welcome to their world? Since the beginning of the Festi Jazz, one no longer counts the grace moments.

Our Mission

The Festi Jazz international of Rimouski is a non-profit organization that aims to favor the access to shows of jazz shows of high quality for the population of the Eastern Quebec, to sensitize the population and give rise to an interest for this musical kind, and at last to enrich cultural life, the tourists offer the economical growth of the Bas-Saint-Laurent.
