As part of the … series, the International Rimouski Jazz Fest is proud to present an evening featuring a performance by Just Jul’.

DJ/Producer/Curator, Just Jul’ is the co-founder of the MASCARADE RECORDS collective and founder of the webradio NEBULAH RADIO.

A fervent advocate of British-style Sound System Culture and the Worldwide Music movement, and equally at home with organic and electronic music, Just Jul’ has been delighting dancefloors, audiophile lounges and festivals for 20 years. Championing a multi-faceted, no-holds-barred style of music that’s resolutely geared towards sharing and discovery, he has developed his NEBULAH RADIO platform and his Mascarade Records label.

His recently released productions, with their Broken Beat/ Uk Garage/ Nu Jazz influences, demonstrate a musical vision made for the dancefloor. Sharing the dj booth with artists such as Guts, Souleance, Voilaaa Sound System, Michel Cleis, Shy One, Alexander Nut, Maxye, Celine Sundae, Tereza, Dom Servini…, he has also performed at renowned festivals (Jazz à Vienne, Francofolies de La Rochelle, We Out here… ), famous European clubs (Bonnefooi – Brussels, Gare St So – Lille, Le Groom – Lyon, Iboat – Bordeaux, XOYO – London, Renate – Berlin…) and tours in various countries (Turkey, Italy, Canada, Germany…).

A radio enthusiast and former resident of the famous LE MELLOTRON, he has had numerous radio appearances on stations such as NTS (London), Kiosk Radio (Brussels), New Morning Radio (Paris)… Since September 2022 he has been a resident on Milan’s RADIO RAHEEM, with his show Something 4 UR Mind. This is a show where he presents a more electronic side to his music, with a one-hour mix every month featuring Ambient, Low Techno, Weird House and other musical curiosities.

In short, his aim is simple: a big dose of ❤ on the dancefloor !
