Josh and the Dirty Rags – Escales

As part of the Les Escales series, presented by the City of Rimouski, we are proud to welcome Josh and the Dirty Rags!

Since April 2022, Josh has been travelling the roads of America with the aim of promoting his music. Trained as a trombonist for 20 years, he decided to to broaden his horizons by adding the banjo to his strings.

His project Josh & the Dirty Rags was born when he decided to leave his job and his apartment
to live in his van full-time. Since then, he has performed int Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Islands, Magdalen Islands, Quebec, New Jersey, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. With a numerous Canadian and European tours under his belt, with various bands, his songs will take you on a journey from New Orleans jazz to Irish music from Newfoundland to Appalachian folk.

His eclectic show, which draws on his professional experience, is sure to please you
from start to finnish.
