Julien Fillion is a Montreal-based saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist. He began to make his mark on the Montreal and international scene as part of Jazzamboka, a group with which he received the Stingray Award at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal in 2017. After amply proving his skills and musicality as a freelance musician, he launched his own project in 2019 and received the title of Révélation Jazz de Radio-Canada in 2021.

Outside of his own project, Julien Fillion has had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous artists from diverse musical genres such as Fouki, Clay and Friends, Les Louanges, Diane Tell, The Brooks, Bobby Bazini, Razalaz, Grooz, Donald Dogbo and more.
