Powerhouse TreeOh! (Pologne)

As part of the Journée en Jazz Desjardins series, the Festi Jazz International de Rimouski, presented by Québecor and in collaboration with Desjardins, is proud to present a performance by Powerhouse TreeOh!

PowerHouse TreeOh! is a tight, groove-driven jazz trio, blending percussive funk rhythms, vibrant keyboard textures and bursts of raw guitar. Led by European guitarist Wojtek Justyna – renowned for his distinctive timbre, versatility and inventive compositional style – the band brings together two outstanding musicians from the Montreal scene: keyboardist David Ryshpan, whose imaginative playing on keyboards and synthesizer adds color and depth; and drummer Shayne Assouline, whose dynamic beats hold the ensemble together. Together, they use Wojtek’s original compositions as a springboard for their improvisation and fiery exchanges, taking music lovers on an exhilarating journey where the spirit of jazz and groove is felt in every note.
